When visiting Vail for the lacrosse tournament it’s important to keep in mind a few things:
Flights – most teams and individuals flight into Denver and make the 2-2.5 hour drive from Denver to the Vail Valley. It’s a beautiful drive as you past Denver and head into the mountains along I-70. Weather – summer time in the mountains is beautiful and normally temps range between 70 and 85 degrees. An afternoon thunderstorm is common so be sure to take some rain gear on your trip.
